Responsibilities: Supports patients’ well-being by providing mental health assessments and treatments; providing resources; educating families; maintaining patient records. Assesses patient mental status and problems; designs and implements treatment programs; educates peer members; maintains patient records; prepares clinical reports; protects mental health centers value; updates job knowledge; enhances mental health center reputation, as well as social/relationship/expressive arts therapy. Expressive arts /music therapy is used within a clinical therapeutic relationship to address physical, psychological, cognitive, and social needs of individuals. After assessing the strengths and needs of each client, the qualified music therapist provides the indicated treatment including creating, singing, moving to, and/or listening to music. Through musical involvement in the therapeutic context, the client’s abilities are strengthened and transferred to other areas of his or her life. Music & Art therapy also provides avenues for communication that can be helpful to those who find it difficult to express themselves in words; as an added plus to therapeutic services GIM- Guided Imagery Meditation/ Relaxation Therapy is provided clients suffering from pain and posttraumatic stress disorder. Research in the music therapy profession supports the effectiveness of music therapy in many areas such as facilitating movement and overall physical rehabilitation, motivating people to cope with treatment, providing emotional support for clients and their families, and providing an outlet for the expression of feelings.

Overtime, Holidays, Shift Differentials, On-Call, Call-Back, Cancellation Policy:

 

Evening/Night/Weekend:   CCT will bill an additional 8% differential to be applied to employees who work solely on weekend (Saturday and Sunday) shifts.

 

Overtime Rates:    Overtime is 10%  times the normal hourly rate after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week in accordance with state and local labor laws is payable through CRISARA Creative Therapy.

 

Holidays:  All Government Holidays are honored as “Off Days”; Holiday Rate is the same as Overtime Rate if worked.

 

Shift Differentials: CCT will bill an additional 8% differential to be applied to employees who work solely on weekend (Saturday and Sunday) shifts.

 

On-Call: While Employee is in On-Call status, he/she will be paid $10 per hour and will be available by phone, cell phone or pager to provide emergency consultation in case of a natural disaster. Employee must remain within 1 hour of the facility during on-call status.

 

Call-Back: If employee is called back into the facility to work, the regular hourly rate will apply once employee begins working with a minimum of 2 hours to be paid regardless if employee actually worked less than 2 hours.  Overtime rate may apply if employee has already “worked” on-site for 40 hours for the week, not including On-Call status time.
